Villagers of Majhaura Bisanpur VDC-6 in Mahottari district on Wednesday night killed a dacoit. Five villagers were also injured when fleeing dacoits detonated bombs. Dacoit Feku Yadav, who hailed from Mukhiyapatti–3 of Dhanusha, was shot on the chest and died on the spot. One of the villagers Santu Yadav was critically injured in the incident and is undergoing treatment at the Janakpur zonal hospital. The gang of around 13 dacoits, however, fled with properties worth four lakh rupees, looted from the houses of Santu Yadav and Satya Narayan Yadav, said SP Purna Singh Khadka.
