Voting started in all 165 polling centres of Panchthar

PHIDIM: As many as 30 per cent voters have cast their ballot in Panchthar district under the first phase of provincial and parliamentary elections in 32 districts till 12:00 pm today.

Though the voting had started at 7:00 am in 100 polling stations and 165 polling centres, voters started arriving from 10:00 am today.

PHIDIM: Voting has started in all the polling centres across the Panchthar district of Province 2 on Sunday.

The voting proceeding began from 7:00 am today in all 100 polling stations and 165 polling centres.

The district has two candidates for provincial and parliamentary elections each.

The casting of votes is ongoing peacefully in all polling stations, informed Chief Returning Officer Manoj KC.

As many as 125,219 eligible voters are preparing to cast their vote in Panchthar, which has disabled-friendly polling centres.
