JEETPUR: Yagya Prasad Khanal (52), a CPN-UML district committee member and ward member of Kapilvastu Municipality-6, passed away of a heart-attack on Thursday.

According to the family source, 52-year-old Khanal of Barmelitole-6 who suffered a cardiac arrest breathed his last on the way to Taulihawa Hospital.

He is survived by his two spouses, one daughter and two sons.

According to UML district member Yuvaraj Pokhrel, his last rites were performed at Ramghat this morning.

The CPN-UML, Kapilvastu has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Khanal.
