LAHAN: A woman and her daughter, a toddler, were found dead on bed at their house in Sabhapur of Lahan Municipality-15 of Siraha district on Tuesday.

The deceased are 32-year-old Kariyahi Devi Musaharni and her two-year-old daughter Bhumika, police informed.

The reason behind their death was yet to be ascertained, according to police.

It has been learned that Kariyahi's husband Musahar, who was working abroad, had returned home a week ago.

The bodies have been sent to the District Hospital for autopsy, police informed.
