DOTI: A woman died, after consuming poison in Doti district on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Tikeshwori Sharma Bista (37) of Dhunga – 5, Jijodamandau VDC of the district.  "We found her struggling at the home on Monday evening," informed deceased's husband Devraj Bista. He said that she died on the way to a hospital.

Preliminary investigation revealed that she had gone to Uchhakot area to eat mangos in the afternoon. She consumed poison immediately after she returned home.The reason behind the poision consumption is yet to be established.

She is survived by a husband, a son and daughter.
