BHOJPUR: A 59-year-old woman was electrocuted in Kafle Dhyangar area of Bhojpur-5 on Monday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Dil Kumari Tamang, a local.

Tamang was trying to connect the wire of rice cooker when she got the fatal jolt on Monday evening, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Dipendra Tharu Panjiyar at the Bhojpur District Police Office.

Her body was taken to the Bhojpur District Hospital for an autopsy, police said.
