RAMPUR: A woman died from snakebite in Nawalparasi district on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Kamala Fal (35) of Dhedgau-6 in the district.

A snake bit Fal at around 2:00 am. Subsequently, the wounded woman was rushed to Pokhara-based Manipal Teaching Hospital where she was pronounced dead according to local Bir Bahadur BC.

It has been learned that Fal's husband works abroad.
