KATHMANDU: An elderly woman lost her life after a rooftop wall of her house fell down during a fight between her husband and their neighbour at Thaiwa of Godawari-8 in Lalitpur on Monday.

Two persons, including the victim's husband and their daughter, were injured in the incident.

Sanumaya Shrestha (68) was critically injured after being hit by bricks and died while being rushed to the B&B Hospital, police said.

A fight had ensued between Natilal Shrestha (69) and Durgaman Shrestha over some undisclosed issues.

Police said they have detained Durgaman for interrogation.

Natilal and his daughter Bina Shrestha (46) were admitted to the hospital for treatment.
