RAJBIRAJ: Police on Monday arrested a woman on charge of swindling two persons of 9.5 million.

Police identified the suspect as Nunu Devi Jha (60) of Bhardaha-1, Saptari.

She operates the Kankalini Multipurpose Service Centre in the district.

She allegedly swindled Prem Neupane of Bhadrapur-9, Jhapa and Kamrujma Sheikh of Kathmandu under different pretexts.

According to SP Dan Bahadur Karki of the District Police Office, Saptari, Jha was arrested acting on a complaint filed by the victims.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
