Rolpa: A woman was killed when she accidentally walked over a landmine planted in the premises of the Nepal Army’s Naya Gorakh Battalion in Rolpa today. Bhunti Gharti Magar, 26, who was collecting grass in the restricted area at Satdobato of Khumel VDC-5 died when the mine exploded, police said.

“Entry into the premises of the battalion is restricted for civilians but Magar had sneaked into the compound to collect grass,” Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, police inspector at Rolpa District Police Office said.
