JANAKPURDHAM: A woman died after being hit by a tractor at Piradi Chok in Janakpur of Dhanusha district on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Sanjira Devi Sah (25) of Sabaila Bazaar of the district.

According to the Area Police Office, Mujeliya, the tractor (Ja 1 Ta 5210) fatally hit Sah while she was crossing the road.

The body of Sah has been kept at the Janakpur Zonal Hospital for postmortem.

Police said that they have impounded the tractor and arrested its driver for investigation.
