KATHMANDU: A woman died after being hit by a bus in Kanchanrup of Saptari district on Saturday.

The identity of the deceased, who appeared to be in her late 30s, is yet to be established.

She breathed her last while undergoing treatment at the Koshi Zonal Hospital at around 10 pm.

Police said that they have impounded the bus (Na 2 Kha 5101) and arrested its driver for investigation.
