We will bow out heads if need be, said Rajnath Singh

KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 15

Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has shared a willingness to mend India-Nepal relations at a gathering in Dehradun on Wednesday.

"There are powers that want to spoil India's relation with Nepal. As a government representative, I want to tell you that if we need to bow our head, we will do it, but we won't let our relations break with our neighbour Nepal," he said at the event, as quoted by ANI.

India and Nepal shares an open border around three sides except in the North, which stretches to 1,770 km.

Many Nepalis and Indians cross borders daily for errands or for employment.
