KAVREPALANCHOWK: District Aids Coordination Committee, Banepa, in association with UNDP organised a programme to mark the World Candle Day by paying tribute to the people who died of HIV/AIDS throughout the world on Sunday.

Participants from different institutions like Nepal Family Association, Kavre, ARSO Nepal, Sakriya Plus Nepal, Siddhi Smriti Pratisthan and SISO Nepal walked along the city chanting slogans like "Let''s make the Candle Day a success". They assembled at Chardobato, Banepa at the end of the programme, to light candles.
