BIRGUNJ: Victims of human trafficking today alleged that there has been a mounting political pressure on the police and administration to free YCL’s regional in-charge who was held human trafficking.

The police last Wednesday had arrested Hari Pattel (Shambhu Pattel), the YCL’s area in-charge , of Ghodadaud Pipra VDC, on the charges of selling Anita Kumari, a resident of Parsa’s Ghodadaud Pipra VDC 1, to an orchestra company in India on February 15. Anita had been rescued on June 1.

Anita’s father Birendra Sah said Pattel threatened to lives if they lodged complaints anywhere.
