DAMAK: The Young Communist League cadres staged a protest demonstration here on Friday against the police raid in their central office in Kathmandu on Wednesday.

The protest demonstration that started from Damak Chowk turned into a mass meet after it arrived at the local Ganatantra Chowk.

At the meet, the speakers denounced the raids. Protest rallies were also organised in Sunsari’s Dharan, Duhabi and Itahari on Friday.

The protesters chanted slogans against the police administration and home ministry.
