YF to evict YCL from seized property

Lamjung, December 27:

Chief of the CPN-UML-affiliated Youth Force Mahesh Basnet today said the YF would evict the Young Communist League from the property seized by them and return the same to the concerned families as soon as possible.

Addressing a district-level convention of Democratic National Youth Association in Besisahar of Lamjung, Basnet, who is also the treasurer of DNYA, claimed that Youth Force was formed to retaliate against the YCL and to protect the CPN-UML and rights of the

people.

“One of the objectives of the YF is to launch counter attacks on the YCL,” Basnet said, adding that YF was the only force capable enough to end YCL’s atrocities. He also claimed that Maoists and other anti-social elements were acting against the CPN-UML.

Basnet told Maoist victims that YF would help return all the property seized by the CPN-Maoist to the owners as soon as possible.

Basnet also claimed that the majority of the people who voted for the Maoists in the constituent assembly elections were feeling betrayed by them. Basnet also cautioned YF cadres against any wrongdoings.

Gandaki in-charge of DNYA Rajib Pahari accused the CPN-Maoist of following ex-King Gyanendra’s autocratic path. Pahari also claimed that the Maoist-led government would collapse within the next five months.

District leaders of the party and DNYA also addressed the conference.
