POKHARA: A person lost his life when the scooter he was riding hit a concrete mixer truck at Chauthe in Pokhara Metropolitan City-14, Friday night.

The deceased has been identified as Ajaya Bhattarai (25) of Begnas in Pokhara-31, informed District Police Office, Kaski.

The incident occurred when the scooter (Ga 15 Pa 2586) en route to Chauthe from Amar Singh Chok rammed into the mixer truck (Ga 1 Ka 2666) moving in the same direction at 11.30 pm.

Critically injured Bhattarai was taken to Western Regional Hospital in Pokhara, where he breathed his last at midnight during the course of treatment, said police.

Further investigation is going on.
