DHANGADHI: A youth was killed in a road mishap in Attariya along the East-West Highway in Kailali district last night.

The accident took place when a bus (Lu 1 Kha 7475) heading to Butawal of Rupandehi district from Mahendranagar of Kanchanpur knocked a youth walking on the road.

The deceased is yet to be identified, police said. The body has been kept in the Seti Zonal Hospital for postmortem.

Police have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle for further investigation.
