KATHMANDU: Foreign Secretary Gyan Chandra Acharya and Indian Ambassador to Nepal Rakesh Sood on Monday signed four Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation within the South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation (SAARC).

The projects are the outcome of the Indian resolutions during the 14th SAARC Summit held in New Delhi. The MoUs relate to projects worth Rs. 90 million in different sectors like Telemedicine, Rural Solar Energy Electrification, Shuttle Breeding in Pulses and Tele-Education. This is expected to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries and benefit the people of both countries.
