BANKE: Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal refused to induct Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal into the High Level Political Mechanism (HLPM) formed a few days ago as he believes that the PM was responsible for the present political turmoil in the country.
Responding to the media queries at the Dhangadi Airport on Tuesday prior to his departure for the capital, Dahal made it clear that the mechanism would ease the political standstill that the leaders were differing on rather than change the guard of honour.
Dahal’s opinion comes in the wake of media reports that say the PM was miffed over the decision to exclude him from the mechanism formed in a bid to cure all the political illnesses hovering in the country.
Dahal said that his party would never bow down to any foreign forces for the sake of preserving the national sovereignty and dignity.
The Maoist supremo also attended a training session of his party cadres in Dhangadi today.
