KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) raised the prices of diesel and kerosene by three rupees each. Both will cost Rs 58 per litre.

According to sources the NOC's distribution department is in the midst of preparing a circular about the new prices and will send it to all depots soon. The prices were revised as the NOC has been incurring losses on diesel and kerosene. The prices of other petroleum products like petrol, air fuel and LP gas will remain the same though the NOC is planning to revise the prices on other petroleum products as well. It is reported that the NOC is incurring a loss of Rs 20 crore till November.

The pricing will be effective from today.
