KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has been taken ill due to viral fever since Sunday evening.

The PM's press advisor Bishnu Rijal said the PM suffered from high fever of up to 105 degree on Sunday evening. The PM is taking rest at his official residence at Baluwatar. Rijal added that the PM's health is improving. The PM was scheduled to lay the foundation of the Kathmandu-Nijgadh fast track on Monday, but all programs scheduled for today have been cancelled due to the illness, he further informed.
