KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal visited Biratnagar on Monday. He is scheduled to inaugurate Manmohan Smriti Polytechnic in a programme organised by Manmohan Smriti Academy.
According to a source he will also participate in the programme organised by trade and commercial association.
He will return Kathmandu on Monday evening.
CPN-UML chairman Jhala Nath Khanal, Deputy Prime Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar, CPN-UML chief secretary Ishwor Pokharel, Trade Minister Mahendra Roy Yadhav, Education Minister Ram Chandra Kusahawa and press advisor of PM Bishnu Rizal accompanied the PM during his visit.
However, the Maoists warned that they would disrupt the PM’s programme.
