KATHMANDU: A meeting of the five parties in the ruling coalition Monday agreed to support the ordinances and bills presented by the government in the parliament.
According to CPN-UML leader Ishwar Pokharel, the ruling parties decided to stand unitedly in the parliament in favour of the ordinances and bills. According to him, the government will address the demands of the Tharus community by amending the bills.
The meeting also decided to provide Rs 1.5 bn to the Koshi flood victims. Pokharel said that they didn't discuss the government plan to give an early retirement to the Nepal Army Chief Rookmangud Katawal.
