KATHMANDU: The major parties Nepali Congress, UCPN-Maoist and CPN-UML are slated to conduct a meeting to address UCPN-Maoist demands including civil supremacy on Thursday.
According to Bhim Prashad Acharya, PP chief whip of CPN-UML, the schedules for the UML-UCPNM and NC-UCPNM meetings have been fixed for Thursday afternoon.
The Maoists have been disrupting the Legislative Parliament for a month, protesting against the President’s move. They have been greeting President, Prime Minister and other ministers at public programmes with black flags.
Earlier, the big three parties had conducted a meeting to resolve ongoing problems on Tuesday and Wednesday.
