KATHMANDU: Two key allies of the ruling coalition, CPN-UML and Nepali Congress, on Sunday have separately issued whips to their respective CA members to attend the parliamentary session that would endorse the country’s budget bill for the fiscal year 2009/10.
The two parties have directed their respective lawmakers to vote for the endorsement of the budget bill that is set to be tabled before the House for deliberation on November 23, 24 and 25.
Earlier on Sunday, the UCPN-Maoist, who has resorted to a phase-wise agitation on the question of restoration of civilian supremacy, had agreed to lift the House obstruction for the three days just to let the House pass the budget bill.
