Museum or cybercafe?

A cybercafé is a place that offers the use of computers to access the internet. Basically internet gathers information of each and every thing that exists in this  galaxy and allows populace to go through it for any intention whereas in a museum bits and pieces of chronological, artistic or scientific interest are exhibited, potted or premeditated. The issue of whether a society needs more cybercafés or museums has always been controversial. I believe that cybercafés need to cover more space in society than museums. With the escalating esteem of internet and people enslavement on it, the call for cyber cafés has grown. As an upshot, cybercafés can often be seen in almost every corner of the city. Internet facilitates people by providing the mandatory information on any topic, giving them the facility of communication, keeping them in touch with the comprehensive issues and so on. As internet facility is provided by cybercafés, in today’s world, cybercafés have become a part of people’s life. In general, people tend to spend almost half of their working hours performing their chores in the internet.

The internet is used by people of almost every level. Students use it as allusion of their course stuff, officers extract information for their presentation, teachers adopt the teaching techniques through it, some people use it for research works and also people use it as a source of communication. It’s alright with those who have access to internet at their home but what about those who don’t have it? Of course, a cybercafé is a place that helps people without the access to the internet at their home to carry on with their works. Will museums help them out to resolve their crisis?

Even information about museums can be found in the internet. The internet contains the methodical, devout, cultural, national, historical, ethnic and assorted aspects that we see in museums. When all these things can be done by surfing various pages of the internet, I wonder why people prefer going to museums?

Thus, we can analyze that the internet or establishment of cybercafés wins over museums. Through the internet, people can not only learn but explore. This is only possible by the establishment of cybercafés. It also saves people’s valuable time. Cybercafés are actually playing the role of moderator between user, technology and information. Establishing cybercafés means reducing the gap between people and their access with the internet.
