LALITPUR: Iva Adhikari won the U-9 girls’ singles title of third Nepal Junior Open Tennis Tournament here on Thursday. Adhikari thumped Prasamsa Moktan 4-0, 4-0 in the final. In boys’ section, Pranav Manandhar and Raj Bir Pradhan advanced to the final. In U-16 boy’s singles, Samrakchyan Bhusan Bajracharya set the final date with Pranav Khanal, while Chabilal Raut and Samyak Bhusan Bajracharya advanced to the U-14 boys’ final. Likewise, Shruti Tamang, Sirisha Rai, Mandira Ale Magar and Rayena Shah advanced to the U-12 girls’ semi-finals. In U-10 boys’ section, Aryan Samrat Hada, Chirag Timilsina, Aaditya Subedi and Aki Zuben advanced to the semi-finals, while Subhangi Laxmi Shah and Aaisa Bajracharya entered the final in girls’ category.
