PHIDIM: Agni Rupandehi Club defeated UKFC Club Darjeeling 3-1 to book their place in the semi-finals of the ongoing IX Ruslan Falgunanda Gold Cup held in Phidim of Panchthar district, on Tuesday.

Sunil Khadka broke the dead-lock in the 19th minute of the game and Rojin Subba doubled the team's tally in the 29th minute.

Darjeeling Club Prasanta Gurung reduced the arrears on the 35th minute before the first half.

With just 17th minute of play in the second half, Rupandehi's Subba scored his brace and maintained team's two goal cushion.

Rupandehi's T-shiring Gurung was adjudged as the man of the match for his over all performance and received Rs 10,000.

In tomorrow's quarterfinal match Morang XI will take on Tribhuvan Army Club Kathmandu.
