APCA Nepal lose both matches on Day I

Kathmandu, October 30:

APCA Nepal lost both of their league matches on the opening day of the Soaltee Crowne Plaze Super Sixes cricket tournament here at the TU Stadium today.

Pitted in Group C, APCA Nepal lost the first match by just two runs to DHL before going down by 32 runs to Pakistan Embassy in the next match. Anjan KC scored 14 and Mahesh Bhandari added 13 as DHL made 64-2 in five overs. APCA Nepal could manage only 62-3. Pisan Giri scored 28 for APCA.

In their second match, APCA Nepal lost to Pakistan Embassy by 32 runs. The embassy team scored 95-1 while restricting APCA to 63-1. Mohammed Mubasha made 27 and Amir Ali contributed 26 for the embassy while Pisan Giri, once again, top-scored for APCA with 21 runs.

The other winners of the day were Kantipur Group, Kumari Bank, Citizen Bank, Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Nabil Bank and Standard Chartered Bank.
