APF enter semis

SINDHUPALCHOWK: Nepal APF Club advanced to the semi-finals of the Nepal Ice fourth Sindhu Cup Football Tournament here on Monday.

APF defeated 10-man Jiri Sports Club 4-0 riding on goals from Hari Karki, Sumit Ale Magar, Ravi Thing and Ram Kumar Kumal.

Jiri were reduced to 10 men with three minutes remaining after goalkeeper Subas Bhandari handled the ball outside the box.

Ram Kumar Kumal of APF was named the man of the match and he earned Rs 5,000.

On Tuesday, Tribhuvan Army Club will take on Youth Sports Club.

Top two teams of the tournament will receive Rs 500,000 and Rs 250,000 respectively.
