KATHMANDU: Maheshwori Battalion and Baidhyanath Battalion recorded wins in volleyball tournament under the APF IG Running Shield Tournament here at the Nepal APF Club covered hall on Wednesday.

Maheshwori defeated Metropolitan APF Team 25-21, 25-23, 25-23, while Baidhyanath saw off Rudra Battalion 25-20, 23-25, 23-25, 25-22, 15-12.

In football event, Baidhyanath beat Metropolitan 2-0 and Rudra recorded a 1-0 win against Maheshwori.
