LALITPUR: Tribhuvan Army Club won the team championship trophy of the 19th National Swimming Championship, held under the seventh National Games, here on Friday. TAC won 25 gold, 13 silver and 11 bronze medals, while Central Region bagged seven gold, 16 silver and 11 bronze medals. Western Region came third with two silver and three bronze medals. During the three-day championship, seven national records were shattered, all by TAC swimmers. Sirish Gurung alone bagged 16 gold medals and broke five national records, while Sofia Shah shattered two national records.
