Army, IMS ink deal

Kathmandu, October 8

Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) and Integrated Mobility Solutions (IMS) Pvt Ltd today reached an agreement to sponsor the ‘A’ division football team of the Nepali Army for one year.

Executive Chairman of IMS Pvt Ltd Deepak Malhotra and Maj Gen Rajendra Bahadur Karki signed the memorandum of understanding at a programme on Thursday. As per the deal, IMS -- authorised distributor of Samsung mobiles in Nepal — will provide the TAC team with sports kits worth two million rupees in one year period.

In return, the the TAC players will use the logo of Samsung in their gears during all the national and international matches.

Maj Gen Karki thanked IMS and Samsung for their support to the club. Executive Chairman of IMS Malhotra said they were happy to get the opportunity to be linked with the club. Country Director of Samsung Moblie, YB Won expressed happiness for completing the deal.
