Chitwan, October 25 Tribhuvan Army Club beat Himalayan Sherpa Club 2-1 to enter the semi-finals of the Tuborg Bikash Running Shield International Invitational Football Tournament here at the Campachaur today. Tek Bahadur Budhathoki and Aashish Shakya netted a goal each for TAC, while Raju Ale scored the consolation goal for Himalayan Sherpa. TAC took the lead through Budhathoki’s goal in the 11th minute, while Shakya doubled the advantage in 36th minute to go into the break with a 2-0 lead. Himalayan Sherpa came back as a different team in the second half and did manage to score within two minutes of the resumption. Ale found the back of the nets in the 47th minute to make it 2-1. They tried hard to find the equaliser but the Armymen kept them at bay to book a place in the last four. TAC goalkeeper Bikash Malla was named the man-of-the-match and he received Rs 10,000.
