ACC to organise age-group tournaments

Kathmandu, August 15

The Asian Cricket Council decided to organise three age-group events along with women’s Asia Cup.

The  Annual General Meeting of the ACC that concluded in Colombo on Saturday, decided to reintroduce the U-16 event to be played among non-Test  playing nations.

The ACC will also conduct U-19 tournament and U-23  Emerging Asia Cup apart from senior men’s events. The  Women’s Asia Cup will be organised later this year,  according to ACC’s official website.

The ACC Executive  Committee meeting held on the same day granted the hosting rights of the U-19 Asia Cup to Malaysia in November and decided to organise the Emerging Asia Cup every year.
