KATHMANDU: Veteran athlete Dharma Maharjan and legendary marathon runner Baikuntha Manandhar on Tuesday left for the United States of America to participate in the Boston Marathon slated for April 15.

Maharjan will run in the above-45 age category, while Manandhar accompanied him as a coach.

President of Khagendra Sports Foundation Dr Khagendra Bahadur Shrestha and singer Buddha Bir Lama bade farewell to the athletes on Tuesday.
