Bad light hits England-Windies Test
CHESTER-LE-STREET: West Indies were 34 for one in reply to England's first 569 for six declared, a deficit of 535, and still needing a further 336 runs to avoid the follow-on, when bad light stopped play on the third day of the second Test at the Riverside here on Saturday.
West Indies captain Chris Gayle was 19 not out and Ramnaresh Sarwan six not out.
England lead the two-Test series 1-0.
