Germany captain Michael Ballack has joined English Premier League champion Chelsea. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho confirmed the move on Sunday as Chelsea celebrated back-to-back Premier League titles with a victory parade.

“He chose Chelsea, we are happy and I think everybody should be happy to have such a player in the Premiership,” Mourinho said. Ballack is scheduled to hold a news conference at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge stadium on Monday.
