HETAUDA: Bara advanced to the quarter-finals of the Rohini Housing Piple Campa Gold Cup Football Tournament here at the Kampadanda grounds on Friday.

Bara defeated Chitwan 1-0 riding on Bibek Chaudhary’s solitary goal in 30th minute. Chaudhary was named the man-of-the-match.

A total of 10 teams are competing in the tournament, organised by Piple Youth Club. The winners and runners-up will get Rs 100,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively. The best player of the tournament will earn Rs 10,000.
