KATHMANDU: Nepal Sports Federation, Kathmandu is organising the first Manamohan Memorial Basketball Tournament from Sunday.

A total of 15 teams, nine in men’s and six in women’s sections, will compete in the event to be played under league-cum-knockout format. The winners and runners-up in men’s section will receive Rs 100,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively, while the most valuable player and highest scorer will get Rs 10,000 each.

And, top two teams in women’s section will earn Rs 30,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively, while the most valuable player and highest scorer will get Rs 5,000 each. — HNS
