KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Bishworupa Budha won silver medal in the 8km race under the South Asian Cross Country Championship in Thimpu, Bhutan on Tuesday.

India and Sri Lanka won gold and bronze respectively. Budha was also the member of the Nepali team that won bronze medal in women’s 8km team event.

Reshu Basnet, Bindra Dhanke Shrestha and Sanumaya Karki were the other members of the team.

Sri Lanka and India came first and second respectively in the category.
