BHAIRAHAWA:Butwal-XI and Sai Global Cricket Club registered victories in the Shashikant-SakuntalaBarma T20 League Cricket Tournament here at the Siddhartha Stadium on Sunday.

In the Group A match, Butwal defeated Buddha Cricket Club by 46 runs. Invited to take the first strike, Butwal scored 125-5 and restricted Buddha to 79-9. PrathamParajuli top scored for Butwal with 31 runs, while AmitShrestha (23) and TausifAlam (18 not out) also contributed in double figures. In reply, SandeepSahani (16) was the lone Buddha batsman to score in double figures.

Man-of-the-match Alam took three wickets for Butwal. In another match, Sai Global beat Gyanodaya Cricket Club by 19 runs. Batting first, Sai Global were bowled out for 145 runs in 19.4 overs, while Gyanodaya managed 126-5.

Man-of-the-match RupeshBastola scored 30 and SandeshShakya contributed 21 for Sai Global, while Nishant Sharma top scored for Gyanodaya with 39 runs.
