CAN XI beat Dhaka Club

Rahul Kumar BK took six wickets and Dipendra Chaudhary scored an unbeaten half century as CAN XI beat Dhaka Club Limited by 60 runs in a friendly match at the TU Stadium today.
Put into bat first after Dhaka captain Ifetekhar Rahman won the toss, CAN XI - picked with most of the players in the camp for the World Cricket League Division-V Tournament - accumulated 185/7 in their allotted 35 overs. Dhaka Club were packed for 125 in 34.3 overs.
Dipendra Chaudhary scored an unbeaten 55 off just 45 balls hitting four fours and a six, while Sharad Vesawkar was run out after scoring 43 off 45 balls including six boundaries.
Paras Khadka hit a six and a four in his brief knock of 20-ball 23, while Mahesh Chhetri scored 20 off 46 balls. Skipper Binod Das contributed 10, while Sanjam regmi hit a six off the last ball of the innings in his unbeaten seven. For Dhaka Club, Athar Ali Khan, Enamul Haq Muni and Sanwar Hossain took one wicket each.
In reply, the visitors were never in comfortable position after they lost opener Arafat Sunny with just seven runs on the board. They lost wickets in regular intervals before being folded for 125 in 34.3 overs.
For the home team, Rahul Kumar BK returned with the figures of 5.3-1-5-6 and earned the man of the match award. Manjeet Shrestha took two and Paras Khadka claimed one wicket.
