KATHMANDU: Capital College and Research Centre, Angels Heart, Learning Realm International and Ideal Model College advanced to the round of 16 in the sixth BernHardt Cup Inter-college Basketball Tournament here on Saturday.

CCRC defeated SANN International College 52-47 riding on 18 points from Manish KC. In other matches, Angels Heart thrashed Kathmandu Model College 71-36, while LRI defeated KISC 47-43 and Ideal outplayed Advance 46-15 with Biraj Balayar scoring nine for the winners.

In girls’ section, Xavier International beat BernHardt 47-17 riding on Sony Magar’s 18 points.
