KATHMANDU: CMG Club Sankata will play a friendly match against Nepal APF Club in Sarlahi on Saturday.

The match is being organised to inaugurate the Buddhi Bikash Football grounds. Managing Director of CMG Club and Member of Parliament Narendra Shah took the initiation to construct the stadium. “We are doing all this to promote football in inner-Tarai region,” said Shah at a press meet on Thursday. “The facility is a natural stadium with the capacity of around 15,000 and we have planned to upgrade it to a stadium in future,” Shah added.

He also urged the concerned authorities including All Nepal Football Association to help in the construction of the stadium.
