KATHMANDU: Madan Bhandari Memorial School, Aims International, Bal Shrijanalaya and Sharada Secondary School registered wins in the Coca-Cola Cup Inter-school Football Tournament here on Tuesday. Madan Bhandari registered a 4-2 victory over Juddodaya Secondary School in tie breaker. The match was decided on penalties after both teams were deadlocked at 3-3 in regulation time. In another match, Aims edged past Ekata Academy 2-1 riding on a goals from Aakash Thakur and Siwash Nagarkoti. Prashant Bisunkhe scored a goal for Ekata. Also, Bal Shrijanalaya thrashed Mt Summit 4-0, on goals from Samit Pakhrin, Ankit Rai, Dawa Dong and Phurwa Bhomjan. Nandalal Tamang’s solitary goal helped Sharada register a 1-0 victory over Bishwo Rashtriya School.
