Lalitpur, May 10:

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) is organising the Coca Cola Cup Inter-School Football Tournament from Sunday. In all, 129 secondary schools from Kathmandu valley will take part in the event, which is divided into two sections. Winners of all the eight groups will advance into the second round where they will play in the league-cum-knockout basis.

The winners will get Rs 200,000 while the runner-up will receive Rs 100,000. The third and the fourth place teams will receive Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively.

The tournament opens at the Dasharath Stadium, while rest of the matches will be held at ANFA Complex and FIFA Technical Centre.

The organisers along with sponsors, Bottlers Nepal Pvt Ltd have also planned a festival after the completion of the first phase. Members of all the group winners will be assembled at the Tundikhel grounds and will undergo one-day training to be conducted by football experts. The Bottlers Nepal have provided Rs 1.2 million for the tournament, the organisers informed at the programme.
