Dhangadhi: Campus Road and Attariya won their matches of the Sagarmatha Cement Dhangadhi Cricket League-3 here at the SSP cricket grounds on Friday. Campus Road defeated Chauraha by five runs, while Attariya beat Santoshi Tole by eight wickets. Batting first, Campus Road scored 107-7 before Chauraha managed 102-7 in 20 overs. Skipper Roman Balme top scored for Campus Road with 36 runs, while Yogendra Singh Karki was the pick of the Chauraha bowlers taking three wickets. In reply, Karki returned to score 36, while Chandra Sawad, Santosh Bhatta, Lalit Singh Bhandari and Shivaraj Ayer took one wicket each for Campus Road. In another match that was reduced to 16 overs, Santoshi Tole scored 131-2 before Attaria raced 133-2 in 12.3 overs. Skipper Bijay Rana top scored for Santoshi Tole with 55 runs. In reply, Gyanendra Kunwar hit six fours and three sixes in his fiery 37-ball 61, while Mehboob Alam scored a quick fire 40 off just 18 balls to propel Attariya to victory.
